We welcome our guest preacher today, The Rev. Wayne Miesel, President of the Bonner Foundation. Rev. Miesel is active in the young adult service movement, helping young adults to find their calling in the service of others. He has been a great supporter of the New York Intern Program though his work with the Fund for Theological Education and it is a pleasure to welcome him to St. Mary’s today. Also, we again welcome the new members of the New York Intern Program, Ellis Anderson, James Garrett, Megan Mulcahy, Rachel Taylor and Kristin Saylor as we commission them in their service for the year.
Episcopal Church Women: Schedule Change: beginning in September, the Episcopal Church Women’s Prayer Committee will meet on the second Sunday of the month (today) and the full meeting for the Episcopal Church Women will take place on the fourth Sunday of the month (September 27).
