The flowers on the Altar are given to the glory of God and in thanksgiving for The Little Room, a preschool program that served children with special needs for 38 years, as it closes this week, by Dr. Elizabeth Kooperkamp.
Episcopal Church Women’s Prayer Committee will meet today Sunday, August 8th following the 10:00 am service. All women are invited to pray with us and deepen our relationship in God’s love.
Vestry Meeting, August 12th at 6:00 pm. All are invited to attend.
“Back to School” party for teenagers; August 28th 4:00 – 7:00 pm, is being planned by the Episcopal Church Women. Please see Celia Braxton for how you can help.

During the Summer, please do not forget to bring your pledge to the Church if you are going to be out of town. St. Mary’s Church depends on the generous contributions of our members to keep our programs operating. Thank you and have a safe and relaxing summer!
Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first and third Sunday each month. Today, August 1st we will need some volunteers following the service to help us put together the meals. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and please keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers. We need more volunteers for this important outreach ministry of the parish. Thank you!!
Movies at St. Mary’s: St. Mary’s and Ecclesia Ministries will show movies at 6:00 pm on Fridays, and once a month host and open mic cabaret. Come for the fellowship, the popcorn and the FUN!! Also, we need volunteers to help set up and clean up after the movies, so please let Lisa Slocum know if you can help out. Thanks!!
