Stewardship Drive: Stewardship Campaign for 2011. Pledge cards are available to en-able giving by our members to support St. Mary’s mission, to carry out the work God has for us to do. Thanks to Mr. Radford Arrindell, today’s Stewardship speaker. The Stewardship Campaign will reach out to the entire congregation. We will hold a Stewardship Luncheon on Oct. 17th.
Organ Recital: Karen Beaumont, an internationally acclaimed organist from Wisconsin, will present a free recital at St. Mary’s Church, Monday, September 27th at 4:00 pm.
Harlem is Being Destroyed: We Need to Hear From You: The Coalition to Pre-serve Community will hold a forum on the Columbia University expansion project into West Harlem: Monday, September 27th at 6:30 pm. Tell your friends and neighbors and come to help find the ways to preserve our neighborhood for all.
St. Mary’s Bus to “One Nation – Working Together” Saturday, Oct. 2nd, there are still seats available. Sign up today to join us to march in Washington for jobs and justice.
Harlem African Burial Ground: Monday, Oct. 4th at 7:30 pm, 100 Lasalle St. (Basement) a presentation by Mr. Christopher Moore of the Schomberg Center.
Tuesday Evening Bible Study resumes on September 28st at 6:00 pm. This Fall we will begin a study of the Hebrew scriptures. For Sept. 28, please read Genesis 12-19.
Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congerga-tion on the first Sunday each month. Next week, Oct. 3rd we will need some volunteers following the service to help us put together the meals. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12:00 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and please keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers.
Movies at St. Mary’s: St. Mary’s and Ecclesia Ministries will show movies at 6:00 pm on Fridays. Come for the fellowship, the popcorn and the FUN!! Also, we need volunteers to help.
