HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, April 16th, 6:30 pm: Tenebrae service: Chants and readings, ending in the light of one candle.
Maundy Thursday, April 17th, 6:30 pm: Washing of the feet plus Eucharist and stripping of the altar, followed by an Agape supper in the Parish House.
Garden of Repose: Keeping watch with Christ in one-hour meditation time periods beginning 9:00 pm Thursday and throughout the night. Sign-up sheet available beginning Palm Sunday.
Good Friday, April 18th, 12:00 noon. Good Friday liturgy. Reading of the Passion. Veneration of the Cross. Followed by Stations of the Cross from the Iona Community at 1:30pm.
Holy Saturday, April 19th, 12:00 noon. Prayer service in the Garden of Repose (or perhaps outdoors).
Easter Egg Dyeing Party! at 3:00 pm Saturday 4/19 in the Undercroft. Bring any children you know. Bring yourself and prepare to get reacquainted with your inner child, in preparation for Easter Sunday. To donate one-dozen hard-cooked eggs, email shirrellpatterson22@gmail.com.
Easter Sunday: 8am service beginning in the garden with the Lighting of the Paschal Candle. 10:00 am service, with Baptism and guest musicians: April Armstrong, soprano; Nabate Isles, trumpet; Ishmael Wallace, piano.
Easter Egg Hunt is immediately following 10:00 am service! 12:00 noon Children 3 to 6 first; children 7 to 10 after that.
