“What A Neighborhood!” a local collaboration of composers, led by Ishmael and Vita Wallace, will explore the music and philosophy of the twelfth century Abbess, Hildegard of Bingen. Hildegard’s vision of the Divine movement of growth and greenness is one that we see in our own community as we witness what growth can take place in people when there is love. As well as music by Hildegard, What a Neighborhood! ’s program will include music by living composers from our neighborhood. A reception will follow including an exhibit of the spiritual works of visual artists from the community.
