| Monday, October 14 Indigenous Peoples Day St. Mary’s office is open on this contested day; throughout the month of October we will open Sunday worship with a Land Acknowledgement developed by St. Mary’s Vestry and first used in our 200th Anniversary Service last December. (see video below about why people do land acknowledgements) Other ways to acknowledge the legacy of theft and genocide that comprise the history of NYC and the United States.
