Sunday, June 24: LGBTQA Pride
The first Pride March was held in 1970, and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration; the purpose has broadened to include the battle against AIDS, and to remember all who have died from violence and disease. This year, St. Mary’s will march with the Diocese of New York following the 10:30 am service. Details forthcoming.
Sunday, June 24, 4:00 pm: Pride Evensong
This celebrated service, which culminates Pride Week, features St. Luke’s Choir with The Rev. Dr. Mary Foulke preaching! A reception will follow the Choral Evensong Service. At the Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street (between Christopher & Grove St).

Every 1st Sunday 2:00 p.m. in Marcus Garvey Park. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first Sunday of each month. We always need some volunteers to help prepare and serve the “Second Meal” following the service.

Miriam, Mark and Marx: Our interfaith Justice and Peace Activism Community meets the last Thursday of each month. We gather at 6:30PM to share food, experiences, and feelings. We then plan how to advance in the struggle against racism, sexism, and expanding war in these very troubling times. Saturday Mobile Soup Kitchen: Help prepare sandwiches and lunch bags and then distribute them to our neighbors on the street. Every Saturday at 12 noon.
Urban Qi (free Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes for St. Mary’s members) every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Nicholas Park @135th Street. Inclement weather–meet in the Undercroft.
